Your website should be easy for users to access and navigate. I'll create visually appealing, intuitive user interfaces that proritize accessibility for your users.

Screens come in all shapes and sizes, and I'll work hard to ensure your website looks fantastic everywhere on the web.

Your brand is your story, and I'm here to help you tell it visually. I'll work with you to ensure your brand remains consistent and aligned across all social platforms.

Need help with TikTok drops, IG posts or Facebook reels? I'll create content that reflects your brand and showcases your individual style.

I work with you to create print media from concept to final design and I'll help you source reliable, affordable vendors to complete your project.

I manage your website to keep tide pools from turning into tidal waves. This means you don't have to worry about things like back-end hosting issues, security threats, or pesky code updates.

"You don't want to code. I'm telling you -- you don't. It's like having a sandbox and if something goes wrong, you have to look through all the grains of sand until you find the broken one."
It was 2019 , and the voice of reason belonged to my BF, sharing his initial response to my interest in learning HTML.
"If you really were interested in learning to code, you would already have looked into it."
True. Although years working shit jobs whilst occasionally living out of my car kept me in 24/7 survival mode. Not a lot of time to dream.
At the time of his comment, I'd had reliable employment, a solid relationship and a place to call home. It's amazing what regular sleep, showering indoors and getting decent meals can do for your outlook.
"Well, if you really want to learn ... I can tell you how to get started."
The first time I looked at code, it made ZERO sense. Bullet points were "&bull". Colors, like my favorite shade of blue, were numbers, a.k.a. hex codes. Don't get me started on javascript, which I initially referred to as javashit -- IYKYK. I was barely out of the gate when I got my first client. To say I was in over my head was an understatement. It was like taking a toddler who just learned to walk and making her a Rockette.
Startup founded by two actual brothers who jumped ship and became twitch streamers. Hired as an website associate but segued into a lead role within their 5-person development team. A lot of our work wasn't released but the experience taught me a lot about working under pressure. Plus, the whole place was populated with oddballs. Think the cast of SNL taking over Dunder Mifflin for the day. The people I'd most like to survive the apocalypse with.
A favorite among many projects was creating detailed pen-and-ink illustrations to appear on bands and sleeves for a hand-made soap company.
Design, development and website management with a side of convention display creator thrown in. Developed website order forms and user interfaces; managed form submissions; performed troubleshooting and resolution for site errors. Company closed its doors in 2020 due to impact from Covid shutdowns.
Handoff of existing one-page website from owner Randy Harwood's long-time website guru who was retiring. Randy was confident in my abilities but hubby and the guru were. I created a brand kit, then translated that into a CMS-based site with contact forms, a user portal, gallery, event pages, class registration, and monthly newsletter (via Mailchimp). Studio changed hands and was eventually sold in late 2019 to Cathy Cassetta Yoga, LLC.
Revamped website and assisted in brand development for new studio owner Cathy Cassetta, to include creation of a new logo, layouts, posters, signage. etc. This was during Covid, so also set up Zoom integration and user accounts to allow teachers to continue classes online. Created social media (drops, reels, shortform content and blog posts) along with site maintenance. Like many businesses, the studio was severely impacted by Covid shutdowns. Cathy eventually sold the studio space and teaches primarily online via her own website, and was kind enough to keep me on as her developer.
